11STEPS Update - January 1, 2012

2011 has been another great year for 11STEPS! Our original CD, released last year, has continued to garner rave reviews, including a wonderful review this fall from Cashbox Canada who referred to our CD as “Shiny vintage Rock and Rolls Royce”:

The 11STEPS CD is also in regular rotation on Hammond Radio, which is playing six of our more Hammond-oriented songs (I Need Shelter, Let It Go, 40 Days, Lone Ranger, Picking Hopes and Except For Love). Our bonus track “Except For Love” is also featured on “The Amazing Compilation CD” and e-album featuring 111 artists (including artists such as the legendary Dan Hill, and Colm Wilkinson) and 121 different songs from all musical genres. At an incredible price of just $10, all profits from the download of this CD are going to the Canadian Cancer Society and Bluewater Health’s new Cancer Care Assessment and Treatment Centre. 11STEPS is honoured that our bonus track “Except For Love” it the first song on the CD!

11STEPS has continued to gig frequently in and around the GTA throughout 2011, and performing with us throughout 2011 has been our new drummer, Mark Santer. Mark has been performing with us since January, and he’s probably best known for being a founding member of the 80’s rock trio SANTERS, along with his brother Rick.

YES, 2011 was another great year for 11STEPS and we’re looking forward to a fantastic 2012. Gigs are being scheduled, and they will continue to be posted on our Facebook page on a weekly basis.
